The monument on Parliament the protesters have been gathering at is called The Centennial Flame. This Centennial Flame was erected as a temporary monument, but due to great public support it still stands today. Reminiscent of a campfire on Canada Day, people gather to discuss their thoughts and be heard by their fellow Canadians, when the government allows it.
