Dear Librti family,

To begin, I would like to welcome all you who are new to Librti! Thank you for being here and for supporting this community, we are glad you’re here!

Further to the note that Roman sent out on Nov. 24 regarding improvements we are making to enhance your user experience, I thought to send a short message as a follow up to let you know how we are progressing! (when I say we, I mean Roman of course!)

A few days ago, we finished the migration of Librti to a new infrastructure - a set of interconnected servers in a bunker. Now we will be able to better handle the mobile app, scale to 100,000 members, and beyond. These changes brought several improvements to server security, stability, and performance.

Here is the list of improvements:

  • 2-3 x faster homepage loading speed, and better general site-wide performance.
  • Improved image/file/video upload and processing speeds - there is no more delay after you hit the 100% upload mark anymore, and photo uploads should be much quicker now.
  • You should not experience interruptions and other glitches while watching videos on Librti anymore.
  • We are now able to send mail to live.com, hotmail.com, outlook.com, and other Microsoft emails.
  • In preparation for the mobile app, we've improved Librti messenger experience, design, added the ability to use emoticons on mobile, and there is more coming soon!
  • Fixed events being duplicated in some cases.

On behalf of the Librti Team, I would like to extend my personal gratitude to Roman’s wife and his beautiful children for all the dinners he has missed and all of the very late nights Roman puts in to ensure that Librti is running smoothly. Thank you Roman – we love you!

To the entire Librti family, thank you so very kindly for your support; for sharing Librti with friends and family, for sharing Librti content, for upgrading your membership , and for your donations. Librti is here because of you! Thank you again for supporting Librti and for being part of this much needed community.

Kindest regards,

Dione
