This group is for sharing info & techniques on reducing electrosmog in our environment.

Electrosmog = frequencies that emit from wireless technology, including (but not limited to) radio waves, microwaves, & WIFI, which are thoroughly proven to have adverse effects on health.

5G is the talk of the town but not the only thing to consider. Solutions are abundant & anybody can employ them. Let's share!

What tools do any of you use for blocking EMFs in your home? How about on your body?

Hi, I don't use anything very complicated. I have my phone on but on a counter elevated above my head when sleeping.

When I go out, I lined one side of a zip lock bag with aluminum tape and insert the phone with the tape side next to my body so I don't get direct exposure but still get signals.

I switched from using a wireless mouse to a wired one.

Good idea for your pocket. I'd probably not have the phone above your head though. I believe it's best if it's in another room.

There's two different kinds of electromagnetic radiation emitted by a phone. One, is the transmit signal from/to the tower which is what allows you to have cell signals and data. Second is the inherent one due to the electric current passing through the circuit board and the wires in your phone.

The first one won't be helped by other than turning it off or using airplane mode. The second will *greatly* diminish with distance and even at 1m, will be very small.

The height of the cell towers are quite high, so why I put them above the head. Yes it is better to turn it off entirely.

Most worry about the first kind of radiation. I did some simple tests and wrapping the phone in aluminum foil was enough to degrade the signal substantially. Hence the aluminum tape bag. :)

I have an EMF canopy over my bed. I use an EMP fan, actually more than one, to block frequencies. I have protective clothes for when I go out also.

I had to come back to this damn city and in 2 days I'm feeling lethargic and loss of memory. Can't avoid it as I'm at my parents place and we have more than dozen wireless devices. My memory was improving prior to that.

I didn't think I was EMF sensitive. Apparently everyone is, just not to the same degree.
