Reaching People - David Charalambous, UK - How to handle difficult conversations

David Charalambous, UK, specializes in behaviour & communications, NLP and dynamics, and is founder of Reaching People (www.reachingpeople.net). He is a sought-after speaker that helps us understand the process of psychosis and how important our approach and language is to reach through the cognitive dissonance around us. David has spoken at events for the World Council for Health, recent World Congress Doctors conference in Brazil with 15,000+ doctors, Health Alliance (Australia), Doctors for Covid Ethics, and many groups collaborating internationally.

On January 16, 2023, we were honored to host David in a webinar with those leading, canvassing and actively supporting initiatives across BC. David’s insights were captivating to understand our approach, language, questions to ask and biases when meeting people. This is now released for all to benefit.

Every single interaction is important, whether it be door-to-door, at the grocery store, or with friends and family. This will give you the confidence on how to better understand where the person may be at and how to encourage them to hear information in a successful interaction. With some practice, you’ll feel how empowering and successful a conversation can be. This is likely different than what you have experienced in speaking to others, so far.

“We can significantly improve our communication by understanding some basic concepts. We really can find a way to challenge ideas when we know how.” – David Charalambous

Meeting notes with links and resources from the webinar provided by Unity Health & Sciences (www.unitymovement.ca/health-sciences), by request.

David’s efforts are volunteer; donations welcome to continue to support his efforts at www.reachingpeople.net/donation
