Kirk had a Brilliant mind. I was a fan. (39 second clip says it all)
(I've seen clips circulating where Ai removed the guys standing behind Kirk, beware of propagandist strategies)
(If memory serves ( I was 14 y.o. at the time), very similar thing happened with JFK where the lead secret service guy lifted an arm up for his team to stop walking (was the get ready signal...) the car had kept going about 10 more feet... then the car stopped moving... most likely the stop had been the "Shoot " signal IMO)
After further analysis, I'm now convinced that the guy in a bue shirt to the right of Kirk, was the shooter, his pistol wrapped in a while cloth under his armpit aimed at Kirk...and just check the way his hands move right after the shot. The 30-06 was a cover-up sound to hide the handgun sound.
UPDATE: here is the breakdown of my analysis and how I arrived at it;
The best way is to download the video and use at least a 32 inch screen, (I used a 55" for that) use SMplayer or VLC player , which have speed control, option to keep original pitch of sound when slowed down. Not Zoom too much as image will become too blurry for analysis. These video players also have frame by frame play back. you can also set a repeat of between second 19 to second 27, where it will keep repeating over and over...makes analysis focusing on various aspects super easy.
WHAT I SEE is the guy in black puts his right arm forward(1) slaps his right arm bicep (2) and sharply pulls his left hand downward(3) followed instantly by the shot. like counting 1-2-3-4...4 being the actual shot that hit Kirk. Very well timed and coordinated. I think the guy on the roof fired when he brought his left hand downward on his bicep(on count of 3) and the guy in blue shot on the count of 4. that would have been covered up by the sound of the high powered rifle at 200 yard which was fired at the sky half a second earlier as a cover, giving that louder sound the time to reach the tent. Focus on the guy with the blue shirt also, with his right hand under his left armpit, his movements after the shot , and his timing, are very peculiar. And the sound in this video is the sound of a pistol not of the high powered rifle that the crowd heard...because the mike used by whomsoever was filming this was closer to the actual gun that hit Kirk. So many factors come into a forensic analysis. And I'm just an amateur at doing this.
Too bad the FBI can't afford my kind of equipment, eh? 🤣
