As of yesterday the police had put up cement barricades across all lanes of Huron Church road and fell back for the night. They stopped pushing forward. Last night when I went to sleep there were 12 vehicles down at the Ambassador bridge blockade. This morning there was 3 left. Everyone pulled out due to the threats of fines and arrests.At midnight last night our group was surrounded by Windsor police. All entrances to the road way and intersections were blocked by Windsor police. When I awoke this morning, all Windsor police vehicles were replaced with OPP. We all knew it was coming today.At 8am, the police formed their line again and began moving back on everyone who was down there. There wasn’t very many because it was so early. They surrounded everyone down there and started arresting them. The 3 vehicles that were left refused to move and the police smashed windows and pulled them out of their vehicles and arrested them.By 8:30 they had pushed their police line almost down to Tecumseh road. They had a line of police followed by all of their vehicles behind them. Of course many in our group were now getting intimidated. All supplies were loaded into trucks, the camping trailer was all packed up… we were anticipating our eviction. I agreed with a couple of the other vehicles that we would hold the line as long as we possibly could.As we were watching the police line come towards us police vehicles swarmed in and began blocking our vehicles from the front. So of course, everyone panicked and began to pullout. All the vehicles in our group pulled out immediately except for the big truck because he was blocked in. Of course I had no other option but to follow suit as I couldn’t fight this battle on my own. After all of our vehicles were moved out the transport backed up and followed us as well and the police had managed to win this battle.Since then, protestors have filled the area trying to hold police back from moving any farther and securing anymore areas. They have begun to tow vehicles from the plazas with flags on the vehicles and they have also started arresting protestors who step foot on the plaza property even after the convenience store employee said they didn’t not agree with that option.This is what our country has come to… it’s quite scary actually. When the rights of some outweigh the rights of others. Most of us who were actually apart of the blockade headed for home as soon as we were forced out but do not worry… we will be back and we will be stronger!!
